The Farnham Society is once again organising a full programme of Heritage Open Days from 10th to 19th September. As in previous years, the Bourne Conservation Group is leading a guided walk as our contribution to understanding the heritage of our area.
The walk is: From Bat to Cow via Moths led by David Dearsley. It is a short walk from the Bat and Ball pub to the Spotted Cow pub with a stop at Middle Bourne Lane Wildlife Garden to see a collection of moths caught the previous evening – and to release them. Various stops en route to review points of interest. A shuttle service will be provided to take car drivers back to the start.
Details are as follows:
Date: Friday 10th September
Start time: 10.30am
Start point: Meet at the Bat and Ball pub, Bat and Ball Lane, GU10 4SA
